On the 8th of November, Operation Epic Dawn will finally drop and bring an Epic Armageddon tournament format back to Berlin. That is the first time since 2020.

I am proud to say that we managed to get a few new players interested in the game system. Having had a 6 years hiatus myself and trying to avoid bringing the 3rd or 4th Space Marine army (after all we are not playing The Horus Heresy), I decided to trial my Gargant big mob.

Titan lists in Epic suffer from low activations ant thus tend to be on the tactical backfoot for most of the game. Additionally, not having had any previous experience with Orks, the weapons and equipment list seems rather confusing. Which version of the Super-ultra-mega-gun-shoota-thingy I might have bought, still eludes me.

Regardless, I managed to trial the Army and list configuration in three test games and found myself a somewhat sensible configuration that did not seem completely nonsensical. I will post an update on how the army fared at the tournament after the post-tournament report. Stay tuned.
